PPP against politics of personal gains: Firdous

GUJRAT: Calling upon political forces to break the shackles of orthodox politics and offer sacrifices for country, Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has dubbed PPP’s politics being away from vested interests, Geo News reported. Addressing a ‘Met the Press’ program here, she said it is spring season in Gujrat but nature is doing its job because a slow but steady change is at an arm’s length She said I am forming a team to fight PPP’s media war and underscored that it was difficult for her to defend her party on every media platform. “Police and custom officials had become all-in-all of PEMRA but now they have been expelled,” Firdous revealed. On the occasion, she announced a grant of Rs.5,00,000 for Gujrat Press Club.
